The International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) launches version 7 of its Certified Ethical Hacker training (CEH) program at 35 training centers around the world.
The new version consists of iLabs, vulnerability testing in a real server environment; Frankenstein, a threat code repository, along with new course material and a video archive.
The CEH v7’s iLabs is a subscription based “virtual lab” that permits students to logon to a virtualized remote machine that runs Windows 2003 Server to perform various exercises featured in the CEHv7Lab Guide.
Frankenstein helps CEH students to check the release date of a hacking tool, the category under which it is published, size of the tool, name of the publisher/author, the website details and technical requirements for teh tool to run. |
